The print is the point
Anyone can sell the image — it’s public domain. What you’re buying here is the object: how faithfully, and how durably, the masterwork lands on your wall.
- Museum-grade cotton-rag

- Archival pigment, 100+ years
- Pigment inks, not dye: rated to hold their colour past a century without fading or shifting.
- Colour-managed to the source
- Each file is profiled to the holding institution’s own scan, so the print reads as the painting does.

The story
An advertisement for cigarette papers, and one of the most beautiful printed objects of the nineteenth century. A woman leans back with her eyes half closed, and her hair — the thing everyone remembers — unfurls around her in enormous whiplash coils that fill the sheet, rhyming with the drifting smoke. The lettering sits behind her in a golden mosaic field; the palette is amber, ivory and deep umber. Mucha treated a commercial commission with the ambition of a fresco, and Paris peeled his posters off the hoardings to keep them. Proof that the Art Nouveau line was invented on the street, not in the salon.
